Two Men Shaking Hands

Help Us Soar

HMAC has partnered with several Addiction Rehabilitation Organizations in New York, Georgia and North Carolina.  We are committed to raising a fully tax deductible $1 million in donations to provide scholarships for 125 families.

That could save 125 lives and 125 families.

Recovery. Prevention.

Education. Treatment

Our approach focuses on a milieu of therapeutic and evidence-based modalities that give each individual the essential tools to manage the medical diagnosis of chemical dependence and the co-occurring diagnoses that either pre-exist or emerge alongside addiction. There is no other source in Charlotte that includes placing a primary focus on family education, providing effective modalities such as EMDR, yoga, mindfulness practices, acupuncture, other co-occurring issues in a safe and therapeutic setting.

With proven techniques and latest advances in neuroscience, we approach recovery with education, Bible studies, group counseling, and vocational therapy.  Through love, care, and education Genesis provides for the emotional and spiritual needs of those with substance abuse disorders. Our goal is to restore our community one life at a time.  Leveraging texts, manuals, films, and other materials, we are able to facilitate the healing process. Every client receives individual attention to provide an opportunity to overcome destructive behavior.

Hope House Ministries provides compassionate, comprehensive and competent care for the poor, the marginal and the wounded among us. This commitment is woven in the Gospel vision that all life is sacred and every human person is unique and has the right to be respected and protected. Specifically, we are committed to young people and families in crisis, pregnant women and mothers and babies in crisis and all other wounded people within our society, who are seen as abandoned and neglected. Thus, we seek to be men and women of hope in a world of shattered dreams.

Thomas' Hope Foundation is focused on providing support, guidance and pathways to treatment for the individual struggling and their loved ones. Our certified peer recovery coaches use their lived experiences to guide those affected to a road of recovery. We are dedicated to promoting awareness, education, advocacy and empowerment regarding substance use disorder.

The mission of the Davis Direction Foundation is to fight addiction and fuel recovery while we serve as a role model in our community in order to become a national resource for opioid/heroin addiction awareness and change.  We will strive to remove the outdated stigma of opiate addicts and innovatively revamp the rehabilitation process to appropriately address the disease of opioid/heroin addiction as one of the most severe forms of addiction.

HMTX Cares has found a formidable ally in the battle against co-occurring mental illness and addiction in the National Alliance on Mental Illness, widely known as NAMI: the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 9.5 million U.S. adults experienced both mental illness and a substance use disorder in 2019. According to NAMI, 10.9%-11.9% of U.S. adults with mental illness had no insurance coverage in 2019; 55% of U.S. counties do not have a single practicing psychiatrist; and even for those with health insurance, most psychiatrists are out of network, requiring expensive and extensive out of pocket payments.
